Abington: Couple Charged with Breaking and Entering, Spray Painting Home
By Erin Dale
A local couple has been charged with breaking into an Abington home and vandalizing the interior with spray paint.
Police say Brian Tempesta, 22, of Rockland and Marie O’Donnell, 23, of Walnut Street, Abington broke into a vacant Walnut Street house and spray painted the walls with various colors for no apparent reason.
A concerned resident contacted police Thursday night after seeing the couple enter the home, saying they looked suspicious. Police responded to the scene, at 80 Walnut Street, around 7:15 p.m. and found the couple inside.
Both are charged with breaking and entering in the daytime, and malicious destruction of property.
According to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, in today’s arraignment in Brockton District Court, O’Donnell was released on personal recognizance while Tempesta posted $200 cash bail. Both have been ordered to stay away from the house and are due back in court on July 27th.
