As the new state legislature is transitioning into Beacon Hill over the next few weeks, some legislators are transitioning out.

With only a few weeks left before Governor Deval Patrick leaves office, a dozen bills are still sitting on Patrick’s desk waiting to be signed such as a bill regarding the funding of an expansion to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, granting four liquor licenses in Wareham, to an act amending the charter for the town of Bourne.

All pending bills will be killed if they are not signed when Charlie Baker takes over the corner office on January 7.

Outgoing House representatives including Republican Vinny deMacedo of Plymouth and Democrat Rhonda Nyman of Hanover will be giving their farewell addresses this Tuesday on Beacon Hill.
