The Massachusetts Board of Higher Education has launched Financial Aid on the Move, a statewide public service campaign to let Massachusetts students and their families know about financial aid programs, options, and processes. The following are resources you can use to learn more about financial aid.
1-877-ED-AID-4U (877-332-4348) - a toll-free Financial Aid Information Hotline, linking you to the Higher Education Information Center. www.edex.org The Education Excellence Partnership, a coalition of public officials, business and teacher organizations, works to strengthen the academic future of America's children by encouraging parents to get more involved in their children's education and learn about and support higher academic standards.
Women's College Coalition, in conjunction with the Advertising Council, offers this site that "fosters success in girls by featuring real-life role models." Focuses on gender equity in education.

Studies show that up to 92% of high school students say that cheating is "commonplace." Cheating is a barrier to learning that can lead to weak performance in many areas of life.
Parent Involvement Program - A parent involvement project from the Mass. Department of Education. The site provides tips and information for parents on how to get involved in the teaching of math and science to their children.
Boston Partners in Education - a nonprofit group offering a variety of programs - mentoring, reading and literacy, to name a few, for children in the Boston Public Schools.
The National School Security Center - The NSSC is a catalyst and advocate for the prevention of school crime and violence. It provides information and resources and identifies strategies and promising programs that support safe schools for school children.
www.heic.org - Higher Education Information Center. A nonprofit agency located in Boston, the HEIC is a clearinghouse of information on college admissions, financial aid and careers. It is the Globe’s partner in The Boston Globe College Workshops.
