Norwell: Town hires Collins Center in town administrator search

The Norwell Board of Selectmen has voted to hire the Collins Center to assist them in selecting a new town administrator.

Selectmen Chair Ellen Allen said the board has also voted to form a screening committee, consisting of various town officials and board members.

“We’ll have a screening committee that will screen the applications brought forward from the Collins Center, and I believe we’ve settled on having 5 members; a member of the board of selectmen, the school superintendent will be asked, Town Council Bob Galvin, and then we’ll try to pick a former advisory board member and some who’s either currently or previously on the personnel board.”

Norwell is searching for a permanent replacement for long-time Town Administrator Jim Boudreau, who has taken a job as the Town Administrator in Lynnfield.
